Peripheral Arterial Disease
Peripheral Arterial Disease claims the lives and limbs of millions of patients annually. Peripheral arterial disease is the largest cause of non-traumatic amputations in the United States, and is caused from the build-up of plaque in the arteries, stiffening them. Many patients go without recognizing the signs and symptoms of this disease. NJASC specializes in diagnosing and managing different stages of PAD.

North Jersey ASC is one of the few vascular centers in the area that offers WavelinQ for percutaneous fistula creation, otherwise known more commonly as: non-surgical fistula creation. This techniques utilize a double point of venous access to create a suture-free, permanently-fused fistula. This technique is minimally-invasive and produces optimal patient outcomes.

Dialysis Access Interventions
When a patient's kidneys fail, dialysis access is necessary because it creates a surgical pathway to their bloodstream, which enables a dialysis machine to filter their blood and remove waste products and extra fluid that would otherwise accumulate in their body. In other words, it serves as a temporary "artificial kidney" during kidney failure. Our physicians are equipped to handle the most nuanced of end-stage renal disease cases requiring access.
